Five Five Fabulous at the BAFTA’s with DISARONNO

Event

I’m so excited to share my diary from last night’s BAFTA’s. My day started off at St Martins Lane hotel, where I set up for the evening. My RED Valentino dress chilled out nicely on the mirror as I attended the red carpet in appropriate (layered) attire which evidently still wasn’t enough to keep me toasty in the abysmal weather that just wouldn’t give up. It was all worth it though. I was inches away from Jennifer Lawrence who wore a beautiful Dior strapless gown covered by an oversized black coat (smart move). Anne Hathaway was non stop smiling in a studded Burberry gown and George Clooney stopped to say hi. Helen Mirren rocked a pink pixie cut (in support of Breast Cancer Awareness) and beautiful Nicholas Oakwell Couture gown but it was Marion Cottilard who stole the carpet lime light for me in a canary yellowDior Couture gown.
After the red carpet I headed back to the St Martins Hotel to get ready for the BAFTA screening at BAFTA HQ and then it was off to the after party. I wore a RED Valentino lace panelled dress from My-Wardrobe with a Zara necklace, Christian Louboutin stilettos and neon Jimmy Choo clutch.
After watching the awards ceremony in the gorgeous screening room we headed to Grosvenor House for the party and DISARONNO pulled all the stops. The cocktails were flowing and everyone was enjoying the fabulous performance by The Noisettes. I grabbed a few words with Shingai who answered some questions for Five Five Fabulous. (Noisettes are the official performers for DISARONNO at the BAFTA Film Awards After-Party).

What was your favourite film this past year?I loved Sightseers. Funniest and most gruesomest thing I’ve seen in years!
Did you have a personal favourite soundtrack? My favourite soundtrack is to the Hitchcock film The Trouble With Harry by Bernard Herrmann.
Who is your favourite actor or actress?- My favourite actor is Peter Lorre particularly in The Man Who Knew Too Much where he is cool and menacing but very deadpan and you can see that many actors have taken a lot of their inspiration from this performance when they play villains, like Jack Nicholson to name one of many.

Zahra of Lyla Loves Fashion joined me at the event and we had so much fun high-jacking the photo booth and bumping into Helena Bonham Carter and Tim burton. (No, really). A huge thanks to DISARONNO for a wonderful evening.
