The international independent film festival Sundance, taking place from January 17 to January 27 2013 has yet again attracted to the Park City in Utah some of the biggest names of contemporary cinema. At the festival founded in 1978 , some of the most anticipated movies of 2013 will be shown for the first time. Steve Jobs biopic starring Ashton Kutcher, the documentary “Sound City” about the recording studio that played host to Nirvana, Guns N’ Roses and other rock legends, directed by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, and James Franco’s controversial “Interior. Leather Bar”. But Sundance is not just about movies. The Park City is the perfect spot to relax and party thanks to numerous luxury resorts and events taking place during the festival.
The all day long film screenings can be exhausting, so you will need a place to relax, try the latest hi-tech gadgets, and pamper in beauty treatments. ‘Resorts West House of Luxury’ hosted at the Ski Dream Home, one of Park City’s most luxurious mansions.
And to celebrate the festival with some cool party vibes, DJ Avicii, Afrojack, 2 Chainz and Cedric Gervais will play live shows from January 19 to 21 at Park City Live (427 Main St.).
